ELECTRONICS SYSTEM ENGINEER

Background

TCN is a System Integrator headquartered in Albania and operating many countries. TCN is working on projects in the Defense, Security, Law Enforcement, telecommunications and IT domains. In this context TCN shall employ an experienced Engineer able to perform independently and efficiently, in an international environment, the given duties. Essential Functions:

The Electronics Systems Engineer must be proficient in the application of standard systems engineering practices and techniques and perform the following functions:

• Analyze requirements and defines, designs, engineers, and implements technical solutions and systems specific to client needs.
• Implements hardware/software integration for various electronic systems.
• Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves operating system problems or malfunctions
• Installs, Integrates and tests various systems
• Handles a diverse range of software/hardware products, solutions and concepts relevant to:
  • Long range electro-optic systems
  • Radar surveillance systems
  • Communications systems
  • Video surveillance systems
  • NAVAID systems

• Pre-Sale/ After Sale tasks such as:
  • Reviews cost analyses and vendor comparison reports to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
  • Recommends vendor/approach and presents to customer or senior management.
  • Proficiency in analyzing the customer’s business, applications and converting the business needs into viable technical solutions.
  • Creating detailed specifications, schematic diagrams, and technical reports.

• Ability to perform installations and maintenance functions
• Ability to write reports, proposals, and other technical documentation
• Solid individual performance while partnering with others
• Analytical and able to adapt to new systems and applications in various areas
• Able to work in international civil/military environment

Minimum-Mandatory Competencies / Skills:

• Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics or similar Engineering domains
• Minimum 5 years of work experience after university degree.
• Experience in electronic systems design and engineering
• Installations and maintenance experience
  Strong knowledge of English language in written and verbal communication.
• Availability and willingness to follow advanced training courses and obtain vendor certifications
• Ability to integrate into multicultural environments
• International travel availability

Preferred Competencies / Skills:

• Master degree in related domains
• Minimum three years of experience as Senior
• ITIL or similar certification
• Certificates in Domain or similar, and willingness to obtain higher level ones.
• International experience
• Knowledge of electronic embedded systems hardware and software
• Knowledge of instruments and tools for assessing performance
